Introduction
The DAMP society was incepted in September, 2022 with the intent to provide the students at DITE with a wholesome university experience and provide them with a platform where they can showcase and channelize their talent and skills in the domain of arts, music and performing arts. During the course of the first academic year, the members of the DAMP society participated in a national performing arts competition at the Karachi art council and secured third position throughout Pakistan competing against professional actors. The society also launched a new wing by the name of DAMP production, which is responsible for shooting, editing and presenting short films. We participated in the annual Dawn short film competition and was shortlisted amongst more than one thousand participants from all over Pakistan.
Our Mission & Vision
To become an independent production house where we produce original songs, series, and movies and conduct commercial level concerts specifically by the DITE students. To make the platform of art accessible for DITE students by providing them with an opportunity to refine and practice their passion for dance, music and performing arts. In pursuit of executing any performance a student may go through an experience allowing them to develop confidence and learn the importance of teamwork and dedication and giving them a unique and memorable university experience.
